This website is an account of my scenario exercise directed at future user roles in online media and entertainment services. I will sketch four possible futures. These will be designed in the quadrants of two axes that represent important uncertainties concerning the environment of the online media and entertainment domain. The first axis is defined as; free content/ services for users vs. users pay for content/ services. The second axis is defined rather generally as; open and free online environment vs. closed and protected online environment.

The button existing scenarios will take you to a section about a selection of scenario exercises that had already been conducted for the media domain. Under the last option, concluding, you will find a general discussion about the plausibility of the scenarios. This discussion will be guided by the comments on the scenarios made by a group of experts that have participated in this scenario study.
